Wallix: BSPP, ArcelorMittal, and France Télévisions Adopt Web Session Manager
Cybersecurity publisher Wallix confirms its unified access governance strategy by enhancing its offering. The Web Session Manager solution, launched at the end of 2025 and integrated into its Wallix One platform, combines browser isolation and access controls applicable to sensitive web browsing.
A Response to the Multiplication of Critical Web Access Points
Wallix positions the Web Session Manager as a response to the governance challenges posed by the evolution of digital usage. Business applications, cloud consoles, partner portals, and industrial interfaces are now accessible via the web browser, which has become a strategic access point to the information system. However, this centralization creates complexity: organizations often rely on a stack of heterogeneous technologies that increase blind spots and reduce visibility into risks. Web Session Manager addresses this challenge by combining Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) technology with control mechanisms, strong authentication, monitoring, and traceability from privileged access management. Each web session runs in an isolated browser, preventing malicious content from reaching the user's workstation, while maintaining complete control over access and actions performed.
First Deployments with Demanding Organizations
A few months after its launch, the solution has been adopted by organizations with high demands for cybersecurity and compliance. The Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) deployed Web Session Manager in addition to its Wallix PAM infrastructure to strengthen the control of its administration portals. A major player in the nuclear sector also chose the solution to secure its critical accesses. Other organizations such as NHS Bristol (health, United Kingdom), ArcelorMittal (steel industry, France), Colas Digital (digital subsidiary of Bouygues, France), and France Télévisions (media, France) have chosen Web Session Manager to protect their cloud consoles, strategic SaaS applications, or critical equipment administration interfaces.
Unified Governance of Critical Digital Access
Wallix emphasizes the native integration of Web Session Manager into its Wallix One platform, aiming for centralized governance of critical digital access within a unique environment. This approach aligns with Zero Trust principles and helps meet regulatory requirements such as NIS2, DORA, or IEC 62443. According to Wadiha El Batti, Product Management Director at Wallix, the market recognizes this vision: the KuppingerCole firm highlighted in its Leadership PAM Compass 2026 the innovative ability of Web Session Manager to secure web access from standard browsers while ensuring a seamless experience for users.
