Wendel Appoints Nabil Bennis to Oversee Valuation and Performance Monitoring
Investment holding company Wendel has announced the appointment of Nabil Bennis as Director of Valuation and Performance Monitoring for investment strategies. This position, created in the context of the development of Wendel Investment Managers, the asset management branch for third-party accounts, marks a milestone in the structuring of this activity launched three years ago.
An Appointment to Enhance Asset Management Development
Nabil Bennis takes on a dual role: he retains his historical responsibilities as Head of Valuation within the Financial Directorate, while also overseeing the performance of Wendel Investment Managers' fund portfolios under the supervision of Cyril Marie, Deputy General Manager, Strategy and Corporate Development. This restructuring reflects the growing scale of the asset management platform for third parties that Wendel has built through the acquisitions of a 51% stake in IK Partners (May 2024), 72% of Monroe Capital (March 2025), and 56% of Committed Advisors (April 2026).
Nabil Bennis, 36, a Graduate of Audencia
Nabil Bennis has twelve years of experience in financial evaluation and modeling. He began his career in financial evaluation before joining Deloitte Finance in 2014 as a Manager in the Financial Evaluation and Modeling team. He joined Wendel's Financial Directorate in 2017 as Head of Valuation. He is a graduate of Audencia Business School. As of March 31, 2026, Wendel manages €49.5 billion on behalf of third-party investors in pro forma following the acquisition of Committed Advisors, complementing approximately €5.5 billion invested on its own account.
