Completion of Divestment
Aalberts has finalized the divestment of 100% of the shares of BROEN A/S, based in Denmark. The transaction, initially announced in December 2025, has received all regulatory approvals and closing conditions have been met. BROEN generated annual revenue of about €82 million and employed 500 staff. The subsidiary is now under a new governance structure and continues to be active in its core business.
Strategic Portfolio Rebalancing
This operation is part of the divestment program driven by the group's 'Thrive 2030' strategy. Stéphane Simonetta, CEO of Aalberts, states that the group will continue to rebalance its business portfolio through clear strategic choices and disciplined capital allocation, in line with four global trends: urbanization, technological acceleration, reshoring, and decarbonization.
Financial Implications
The results of Broen will be deconsolidated starting March 11, 2026. The release does not specify the net financial impact of this operation.
