Aegon Extends Executive Director's Mandate and Prepares for US Relocation
Aegon's board of directors will propose to the shareholders' meeting on June 10, 2026, to extend the mandate of Lard Friese as Executive Director and CEO until the 2030 general meeting.
Lard Friese, who has been serving as Aegon's Executive Director since May 2020, will have his current mandate extended until the 2030 general meeting. His current term was originally set to expire at the 2028 general meeting. This extension will be subject to shareholder approval at the general meeting scheduled for June 10, 2026.
