Delta Plus Group Acquires Italian Sicur Delta to Enhance its Fall Protection Offerings in Europe
Delta Plus Group announces the acquisition of Sicur Delta, the Italian leader in fall protection systems. This move is part of the group's strategy to upgrade its offerings and consolidate the European personal protective equipment market.
Strategic Acquisition to Boost Market Presence
Delta Plus Group, a specialist in personal and collective protective equipment, has acquired Sicur Delta, a major Italian player in fall protection systems. The acquisition aims to achieve two complementary objectives: to establish a growth platform for the Systems division in Italy, and to pool expertise to strengthen the overall offering of fall protection solutions in Europe. Based in Santa Croce Sull'Arno and Urgnano, Sicur Delta generates a turnover of approximately 10.5 million euros with an operating margin higher than that of the group. The company employs 38 people and has been almost entirely active in Italy since its inception in 2007.
Continued Leadership and Integration
David del Tacca, founder of Sicur Delta, will continue to lead the entity and will join the Systems division of Delta Plus Group, bringing his technical expertise and knowledge of the Italian market. The company will be fully integrated into the group's consolidated accounts starting January 1, 2026. Sicur Delta offers a complete range of products that comply with Italian and European standards, including lifeline systems, anchors, guardrails, crinoline ladders, and walkways. This integration will create commercial synergies with the group's existing structures in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain.
Financial Performance and Future Outlook
In 2025, Delta Plus Group achieved a turnover of 389.6 million euros, with an organic decline of 2.0%, but offset by a positive perimeter effect of 11.4 million euros. The current operating profitability stood at 44.4 million euros, representing 11.4% of the turnover. The net result attributable to the group amounted to 27.2 million euros and equity to 275.2 million euros. The group employs 3,748 people across 47 subsidiaries in 31 countries, serving over 110 countries. For 2026, Delta Plus Group aims to return to organic growth and continues its strategy of external growth.
