Eviden Secures Key European Cybersecurity Label for Atos
Eviden, the product division of Atos Group, has been awarded the Cybersecurity Made In Europe label by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). This recognition rewards the company's commitment to digital sovereignty and compliance with European standards.
Recognition of Multiple Aspects
The label awarded to the IAM (Identity and Access Management) division of Eviden acknowledges several aspects: the European location of the company, adherence to European standards and values, compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), investment in cybersecurity research and development in Europe, and contributions to digital sovereignty and the visibility of the European cybersecurity ecosystem. David Leporini, head of identity and access management products at Eviden, stated that this award 'marks our commitment to providing reliable cybersecurity rooted in Europe, as well as our contribution to European digital sovereignty'.
The Role of the European Cyber Security Organisation
The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), established in 2016, is a non-profit organization that brings together public and private stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity in Europe. It supports digital sovereignty and acts as a partner to the European Commission to structure cybersecurity initiatives and investments. Eviden operates in 36 countries with four main activities: advanced computing, cybersecurity products, critical mission systems, and video analysis enhanced by artificial intelligence.
