Exosens, a specialist in detection and imaging technologies, achieved a revenue of 327.8 million euros in the first nine months of 2025, marking an increase from the previous year, according to the company's press release.
Revenue Details and Segment Performance
Exosens' revenue reached 327.8 million euros in the first nine months of 2025, up by 23.2% compared to the same period in 2024, as per the company's statement. The Amplification segment saw a significant rise of 20.6%, reaching 231.8 million euros, driven by increased demand for image intensifier tubes in the Defense sector. The Detection & Imaging segment also showed growth, with revenues of 97.0 million euros, an increase of 26.2%. The adjusted gross margin for this period stood at 168.0 million euros, up by 28.7%.
Strategic Acquisitions and Divestitures
In 2025, Exosens completed several strategic acquisitions, including those of Noxant and NVLS, aimed at strengthening their technology portfolio and expanding their potential market in Defense. The company also acquired Phasics, a leader in wavefront analysis technology. Concurrently, Exosens divested its Microwave Amplification business to focus on higher growth segments. An investment plan of 37 million euros was announced to increase production capacity by 40% by 2027.
Market Demand and Future Outlook
Amid high demand for Defense technologies, Exosens has experienced increasing demand for its night vision systems and detectors, supported by geopolitical tensions and budget increases in the Defense sector. The company expects to maintain its growth with an anticipated revenue increase in the upper range of 15-20% for the year 2025, and an adjusted EBITDA growth in the lower range of 20-25%, thanks to its strategy of internal and external growth.
