Klépierre: Stanley Shashoua Appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Klépierre has announced the appointment of Stanley Shashoua as the chairman of its Supervisory Board, effective immediately. This decision follows the death of David Simon, who had led the board for 14 years.
Unanimous Appointment
The Supervisory Board of Klépierre, convened on April 3, 2026, unanimously appointed Stanley Shashoua as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for the duration of his term as a board member. Stanley Shashoua, who has been a member of the Supervisory Board since April 14, 2015, is the President - International Real Estate of Simon Property Group since 2025. Prior to this role, he joined the group in 2013 as Head of International Development, and later became Director of Investments. He began his career in the finance and real estate sectors.
Additional Board Member Co-opted
The Board also co-opted Emmanuel Cronier as a non-independent member of the Supervisory Board for a term of one year until the end of the 2027 Ordinary General Meeting. Emmanuel Cronier, Senior Managing Director Europe at Simon Property Group, has over 30 years of experience in real estate and industry. After joining Simon Property Group in 2008 as Vice President of the International Division, he later became Managing Director Europe. Throughout his career, he has also held leadership positions at Unibail-Rodamco and General Electric, and started in 1994 at KPMG in audit and consulting. Following these changes, the Supervisory Board consists of 9 members, including 6 independents and 3 representatives from Simon Property Group.
