Parrot Secures Its First Drone Orders Through NATO
Parrot announces the receipt of initial orders ('call-off orders') placed through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for its ANAFI UKR micro-drones. Shipments began in the first quarter of 2026 in successive batches.
Initial Orders Received Through NATO's Support and Procurement Agency
Parrot has received orders through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for ANAFI UKR micro-drone systems. The NSPA provides acquisition and support services to NATO countries and its partners. The ANAFI UKR is available to eligible customers through the UAS Support Partnership program, allowing purchases from a catalog or via purchase orders in accordance with national procedures. These initial orders involve two distinct end clients: the Finnish defense forces, for which Parrot has previously announced a contract, and a second defense client eligible under the NSPA, with further information to be disclosed following authorization.
Shipments Commenced in Early 2026
Shipments began in the first quarter of 2026 in successive batches ranging from 100 to 500 units, with an expected ramp-up to volumes of several thousand units as the programs progress.
Advanced Features of the ANAFI UKR
The ANAFI UKR combines onboard artificial intelligence, optical navigation, and full offline autonomy in a sub-1 kg format. The system is designed to remain fully operational in GNSS-denied environments and under hostile electromagnetic conditions. It incorporates advanced optical navigation capabilities, anti-jamming and anti-spoofing mechanisms through a military-grade frequency-hopping radio (MARS), as well as a hardened cybersecurity architecture. The micro-drone meets the requirements of defense and public security operations in terms of secure communications, data protection, robustness in demanding operational environments, and rapid deployment.
