Aegon Establishes Its Future Headquarters in New York and Appoints Will Fuller as President

Will Fuller to Lead Operations Starting January 2027
Will Fuller, currently in charge of Transamerica since joining Aegon in March 2021, will assume the position of President and COO of the group starting January 1, 2027. In this role, he will oversee the day-to-day management of Transamerica, the group's international activities, and Aegon Asset Management. He will report to CEO Lard Friese, who retains overall responsibility for the group's strategy and performance. Prior to his appointment at Aegon, Fuller held senior leadership positions at Lincoln Financial Group and Merrill Lynch, where he notably led global wealth management with international responsibilities in asset management and insurance solutions.
New York Selected for Corporate Headquarters, Opening Scheduled for Mid-2027
Aegon has chosen New York City as the location for its future corporate headquarters, expected to open in the second quarter of 2027. This office will host selected corporate functions and members of the executive team. CEO Lard Friese will relocate to the United States at the beginning of 2027 to support this relocation. This establishment in New York marks a further step in Aegon's transformation and strengthens its ambition to become a true American company, following the announcement of its intention to transfer its legal headquarters to the United States.
