AGRIPOWER and WELTEC BIOPOWER Formalize Their Partnership
AGRIPOWER France and WELTEC BIOPOWER have signed a strategic agreement to strengthen their partnership for the deployment of biogas technology in France and internationally.
Strengthening of a Long-standing Collaboration
AGRIPOWER France and WELTEC BIOPOWER, a German biogas specialist based in Vechta, announce the strengthening of their partnership through the signing of a strategic agreement. This formalization comes after nearly 15 years of cooperation. According to the release, the two companies have completed over 30 biogas unit projects in France, including Agrigaz Vire, SOBER 1, and SOBER 2 for the BRETS group. AGRIPOWER acts as the general contractor and investor with an integrated Engineering Department, while WELTEC BIOPOWER provides stainless steel components and technical solutions. For 2026, four new Greenfield and Brownfield projects are under development in France.
Official Signing and Future Plans
The signing of the agreement was formalized during a meeting at the WELTEC BIOPOWER headquarters in Vechta, in the presence of the leadership and technical teams. Both partners will be present at the BIO360 expo in Nantes on February 11 and 12, 2026, at booth A70. AGRIPOWER was established in 2012 as a methanation solution integrator. WELTEC BIOPOWER, founded in 2001, has completed more than 400 energy installations across 27 countries.
