Agripower Invests €4.8M to Convert Methanization Unit in Meuse into Biomethane Injection Site
Agripower has completed the acquisition of a 40% stake in a project to convert an existing methanization unit into a biomethane injection facility located in Meuse. The operation, announced last September, has reached its realization stage.
The project involves the modernization of a cogeneration methanization unit (500 KW electric) that has been operational since 2020. Once transformed, the unit will have an injection capacity of 200 Nm³/h and will handle several tens of thousands of tons of agricultural effluents per year, mainly manure and intermediate energy crops (IEC). The site will be directly connected to the GRDF gas network under a biogas production certificate contract.
