Air China Cargo Orders Six A350F Aircraft
Air China Cargo has signed a purchase agreement for six A350F cargo aircraft, becoming the first customer of this model in mainland China, according to a company statement.

Air China Cargo has formalized the purchase of six A350F aircraft, thus becoming the first Chinese customer for this model. The company's vice president, Wang Hongyan, emphasized that integrating these aircraft into their fleet will enhance operational efficiency and maintenance, thereby strengthening the company's ability to maintain stable long-term operations.
Advanced Features of the A350F
The new A350F is designed as one of the world's most advanced cargo aircraft, with a payload capacity of up to 111 tons and a range of up to 8,700 km. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, it offers a 40% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to previous generations. The aircraft is also designed to be 46 tons lighter than its competitors and will meet the ICAO's CO2 standards for 2027.
Air China Cargo’s Operations
Based in Beijing, Air China Cargo is the only flag-carrying freight airline in China. Since June 2025, it has been operating cargo aircraft across various regions in China and has opened 25 freight routes to key destinations in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. The company complements its air freight network with more than 1,500 ground transportation routes worldwide.
