Airbus Defence and Space has signed a contract with Space Communication Technologies (SCT) for the construction of the OmanSat-1 telecommunications satellite. This fully digital and reconfigurable satellite will provide Ka-band capacity to Oman and surrounding regions. It is the tenth satellite ordered for Airbus's OneSat product line, demonstrating continued interest in this innovative technology.
