Amoéba Secures Its First Order from Global Biocontrol Leader Koppert
Amoéba has received its first order from Koppert, the global leader in biocontrol, as part of the distribution agreement signed in June 2025. This order marks the official entry of the greentech into the commercial phase and will be delivered starting April 2026.
Details of the Distribution Agreement
The order is part of the distribution agreement signed with Koppert in June 2025. This agreement covers vineyards and vegetable crops in 18 European countries and the United States. The initial deliveries of this order will be made starting in April 2026 and will help build the necessary inventory to meet demands in France, Italy, and the Netherlands.
Structuring Agricultural Activities
Amoéba is now structuring its agricultural activities around its subsidiary Green 4 Agro, which is wholly owned by Amoéba. This subsidiary is dedicated to the marketing and development of biofungicides and biostimulants. Jean-Marc Petat, a former administrator at Amoéba, has been leading it since March 1, 2026. He brings nearly 30 years of experience from the BASF group in the agricultural and biocontrol sectors.
Launch of TIAGAN and Ongoing Collaboration
Amoéba and Koppert launched TIAGAN at the beginning of the year, the commercial name for Amoéba's solution aimed at the vineyard market. The two companies continue their joint work phase to determine the best offers to address the various markets covered by their agreement. Martin Koppert, Commercial Director of Koppert, emphasized that the company has adopted a gradual approach to properly target the territories and crops that will be prioritized before scaling up.
