Aton Group introduces its subsidiary Pims Technology and its molecular analysis platform designed to early identify patients responding to cancer treatments. The group has begun discussions to implement its technology in European cancer centers by 2026.
A Technology to Assess Patient Therapeutic Response
Pims Technology develops the proprietary Pims technology (Physiological Inter-Molecular Modulation Spectroscopy), resulting from over ten years of research and protected by several patents. This technology analyzes the dynamic interactions between proteins and macromolecules in a patient's biological sample, generating a molecular fingerprint that assesses the biological response to a treatment, either before or during the treatment process. The Pims Q8 platform combines advanced spectroscopy and proprietary analysis software in a hospital-compatible environment. It aims to address a major challenge in personalized medicine: the early identification of responders and non-responders.
Planned Deployment in Leading European Centers
Pims Technology is currently engaged in advanced discussions aimed at implementing its platform within internationally renowned oncology reference centers. This deployment phase represents the first milestone in the company's international expansion strategy, with a planned implementation at the heart of European oncology hubs in 2026. According to Aton, this step constitutes a major clinical validation of the technology. The group notes that two programs are underway in this context, without detailing their specific nature.
