Aton: Inoviem Scientific and DeepLife join forces against IBD through AI
Aton Group, listed on Euronext Growth Paris, announced on September 24, 2026 a partnership between its subsidiary Inoviem Scientific and DeepLife company.
The agreement concerns the validation, on human tissue, of therapeutic targets identified by artificial intelligence in inflammatory bowel diseases.
A partnership focused on validating therapeutic targets
Aton Group, specialized in life sciences and medical technologies, indicated that its subsidiary Inoviem Scientific, a specialist in pharmacology on human tissue, is joining forces with DeepLife, an artificial intelligence company applied to biology.
The stated objective is to accelerate the discovery of new treatments in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), a pathology where many patients do not achieve lasting remission with existing treatments.
Validation on human tissue via the TwinCell platform
Using its bank of human intestinal tissues, Inoviem Scientific tests and validates therapeutic targets identified by TwinCell, DeepLife's artificial intelligence platform, by directly observing the biological mechanism on patient tissue.
According to the press release, the teams of both companies operate in a continuous loop, with each result obtained in the patient refining the following hypotheses, in order to validate earlier the decisions to continue a program.
Statements from executives
Pierre Eftekhari, President and Scientific Director of Inoviem Scientific, indicated he aims to produce clearer and more actionable evidence to guide therapeutic decisions and ultimately lead to personalized medicine.
Jonathan Baptista, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of DeepLife, specified that the TwinCell platform makes it possible to transform data on the disease into treatment leads, subsequently verified directly on patient tissue.
Léone Atayi, Chief Executive Officer of Aton, linked this collaboration to the NPOTS and PIMS technological platforms, developed by the PIMS Technology subsidiary.
