Aton: Bcell Design raises €400,000 in convertible bonds to target international markets
In a press release published on October 26, 2026, the Aton group announced that the historical shareholders of Bcell Design had subscribed to an issuance of convertible bonds into shares (OCA) intended to be converted into capital, including interest, with no repayment. Bcell Design is held 12.12% by Inoviem Scientific, itself 96.74% owned by the Aton group.
Funds directed towards prospecting, marketing and international expansion
The €400,000 raised must finance the marketing and commercial deployment of Bcell Design in France and internationally. According to the press release, after financing investment in production tools, historical shareholders are now accompanying "the next stage: marketing and commercial investment".
The funds will be used to develop the customer portfolio, pursue international prospecting and structure commercial activities. They must also enable strengthening of communication and commercial materials, as well as increased presence at major international industry events.
The group indicates that four markets are already subject to initiatives. The stated objective is to "convert ongoing evaluations into orders and recurring supply contracts", to win new industrial clients and to make international markets a growth driver for Bcell Design's revenue.
An industrial tool in place and three revenue streams targeted
Specialized in monoclonal antibodies, Bcell Design is based at the Strasbourg Innovation Park in Illkirch-Graffenstaden. It relies on three patented technology platforms (GammaPrim, Hamiga and InEps) and on a catalog of 80 monoclonal antibodies covering infectiology, autoimmunity and allergy.
The company can develop the same antibody in multiple isotypes (IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE) and has an ISO 9001 certified production tool. It operates in diagnostics, clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry, and combines three revenue streams: recurring product sales, development contracts and licensing royalties.
"Bcell Design has the means to gain visibility and transform its first commercial successes, in China, Canada and soon in India, into sustainable growth," declared Léone Atayi, Chief Executive Officer of Aton.
