Introduction of Eviden KMS on AWS European Sovereign Cloud
Eviden now offers Eviden KMS on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, an independent cloud service operated with enhanced technical controls and sovereign guarantees aimed at European governments and businesses. The solution is based on a European sovereign hardware security module (HSM) acting as a root of trust, with the master key kept off the cloud. This architecture allows for sovereign management of the encryption key lifecycle from the design phase, while maintaining the security, availability, and performance expected. The immediate availability of Eviden KMS on this independent cloud targets organizations facing complex regulatory requirements needing operational autonomy and data localization within the European Union.
