Atos Implements ASAP for Crisis Management at DGSCGC
Atos has announced the implementation of its ASAP system at the General Directorate of Civil Security and Crisis Management to enhance resource management during emergency interventions.
Introduction of the ASAP System
The ASAP (Standby, Alert and Projection System) is designed to optimize the management of human and material resources during civil security interventions. Deployed by Atos, this solution provides comprehensive management of interventions, from receiving alerts to mobilizing units in the field. ASAP is used by various Civil Security units, including the Civil Security Military Brigade and several training and intervention regiments. The system enables efficient resource management, including personnel and specialized equipment, and facilitates inter-unit coordination. The automation of processes, particularly through the issuance of customs documents and equipment management, significantly reduces the time required to prepare for interventions.
Impact Since Initial Deployment
Since its first deployment in November 2020, ASAP has transformed the management of civil security interventions in France, according to Atos. The system significantly reduces preparation time, from several hours to less than an hour. This improvement allows for a quicker response to emergency situations, which is crucial for the effectiveness of operations. Additionally, ASAP enhances data accuracy, thereby facilitating real-time decision-making. These improvements have been particularly beneficial during recent crises such as fires in France, floods, and international interventions.
Atos's Broader Involvement in Emergency Management
Atos is also involved in other projects related to emergency situation management. The group participates in the 'vision 4rescue' project, an initiative developed within the Software Republic, which focuses on creating technological solutions for emergency services. This project was showcased at VivaTech 2025. Atos continues to strengthen its position in the field of cybersecurity and digital technologies in Europe. With approximately 67,000 employees and a turnover of nearly 10 billion euros, the group operates in 61 countries under the Atos and Eviden brands.
