Atos Launches AI-Enhanced Cybersecurity Center to Combat Cyber Threats
Atos announces the launch of a Threat Research Center (TRC), a next-generation intelligence hub designed to provide in-depth analysis of current and future cyber threats. This initiative is part of the group's long-term strategy to deliver intelligence-based cybersecurity services powered by artificial intelligence.
Strategic Global Deployment
The Threat Research Center represents a strategic capability deployed globally. It consolidates Atos' expertise in advanced research, monitoring of malicious actors, vulnerability intelligence, and AI-powered automation. The TRC provides Atos' Security Operations Centers (SOCs) with actionable and harmonized intelligence on a global scale to enhance the protection of client environments and the Threat Detection, Investigation, and Response (TDIR) capabilities. Early detection of emerging vulnerabilities allows for accelerated prioritization and proactive remediation. Intelligence gathered on the actions of malicious actors and their new destabilization campaigns reduces threat exposure windows and speeds up response times.
Integrated Research Across Sectors
The TRC integrates research on OT and IT vulnerabilities across hardware, software, and network layers, serving sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, telecommunications, public services, and industry. By prioritizing verified threats with a high impact on client activities, the TRC enhances the quality of detection, speeds up incident response, and strengthens the accuracy and efficiency of security operations. Günter Koinegg, global head of Cybersecurity Services at Atos, stated that this system ensures robust security operations for its clients in the current context and prepares them, through foresight, to counter future cyber threats.
