Atos Launches Sovereign AI Studios for Large-Scale Deployment
Atos Group announces the launch of the Atos Sovereign Agentic Studios, a new operational model designed to enable organizations to deploy agentic artificial intelligence in production, securely and under full sovereign control. This initiative addresses the acceleration of agentic AI adoption by businesses, which are moving from pilot phases to large-scale operational deployments.
Operational Sovereignty Integrated from the Start
The Atos Sovereign Agentic Studios incorporate sovereignty as an operational discipline from the outset, allowing organizations to maintain explicit control over autonomy domains, decision governance, and the management of data and models across jurisdictions. The system is designed for deployment in real-world conditions, with security, AI governance, and human oversight integrated from the beginning. This 'production-first' approach allows companies to deploy autonomy where it creates measurable value, while maintaining strict control when risks, regulatory constraints, or the critical nature of operations demand it.
Geographically Anchored Studios with Global Reach
The delivery model leverages Atos' global capabilities and revolves around four Studios located in strategic regions: the United Kingdom (Birmingham) dedicated to sovereign AI for regulated and critical operations, the United States (Texas) for early-stage engagements, France with two studios in the Southwest region (big data agents on the data lifecycle) and in the Paris area (cloud industrialization), and Germany enhancing sovereign and industrial capabilities in Europe. These Studios are supported by ten global delivery centers that combine local sovereignty requirements with industrial-scale execution. Atos is also rolling out AI skills enhancement programs within its teams and among its clients. The Group's agentic AI strategy is supported by Atos Amplify, its unified consulting unit powered by AI, which helps clients prioritize high ROI agentic workflows. The Scaler innovation ecosystem connects clients with selected startups covering the entire agentic AI lifecycle. Atos is building a strategic partnership with Poolside, a leader in foundational models and autonomous software agents, combining Poolside's full-stack AI platform with Atos' sovereign operational layer.
