Atos Meets 2025 Targets Despite Revenue Decline
The IT group Atos has released its preliminary figures for the fiscal year 2025, posting a revenue of 8,001 million euros, in line with its annual target. The company reports surpassing its profitability and cash flow targets under its Genesis plan.
Annual Revenue Overview
The consolidated revenue of the group stands at 8,001 million euros for the entire fiscal year 2025, which is 8,030 million euros at the exchange rates of September 30, in accordance with the previously communicated target, according to the press release. In the fourth quarter, the group recorded a revenue of 2,004 million euros, a 9.3% organic decline compared to the same period in 2024. The Atos division achieved 1,738 million euros in the fourth quarter, a 9% organic decline, while the Eviden division posted 265 million euros, down 11.2%. Over the full year, the Atos division generated 6,963 million euros, a 16.2% organic decline, while Eviden reached 1,039 million euros, up 6.7%. The company attributes this trend to losses and voluntary contract exits in 2024 and an unfavorable market environment.
Operational Margin and Cash Flow
The group indicates that its operating margin for fiscal year 2025 is expected to exceed 340 million euros, more than 4% of the revenue, beyond the annual target set. The net change in cash flow is estimated at about -327 million euros for the year, a result better than the target and achieved without recourse to factoring of receivables or particular optimization of trade debts, the press release specifies. This change includes a restructuring impact of 431 million euros. The liquidity position of the group as of December 31, 2025, amounts to 1,707 million euros, compared to 2,191 million euros a year earlier, more than 1 billion euros above the credit documentation's required threshold of 650 million euros. This position includes 1,267 million euros in cash and equivalents, and 440 million euros in unused credit facilities.
Order Intake and Market Dynamics
Order intake reached 2,444 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2025, driven by positive momentum in Atos activities and supercomputing, according to the company. The book-to-bill ratio stood at 122% for the quarter, up 4 points from the same period in 2024. The Atos division posted a ratio of 106%, down 19 points, while the Eviden division reached 229%, up 156 points thanks notably to the signing of the Alice Recoque contract in high-performance computing. By region, North America and Germany saw an acceleration of their performances during the quarter, particularly due to the application of the agreement with Siemens AG. The group specifies that its long-term financial ambitions remain unchanged and will communicate its 2026 targets on March 6th next during the publication of its audited results.
