Atos has been recognized as a leader for the sustainability of its IT solutions and services in Europe by Information Services Group (ISG), in an evaluation involving more than 35 providers. This recognition covers the entire sustainable IT portfolio of the group, including consulting, engineering, and managed services.
Leading Position in Green IT Solutions
Atos has been acknowledged for its leading position in the ISG evaluation covering Green IT solutions - that is, sustainable solutions for the basic IT building blocks used across all sectors. The evaluation considered services aimed at improving the environmental and social sustainability of IT assets, including data center infrastructures, end-user equipment, software, and AI/ML systems. Key use cases assessed include reducing energy consumption, increasing the use of renewable energy, and designing energy-efficient architectures and codes. Atos was also recognized for its ability to consider the social impact of computing, including solutions that improve accessibility for physically and neurodivergent employees.

Atos has been praised for solutions such as the Sustainable Digital Workplace, which boasts strategic partnerships with SAP, Microsoft, and Greenspector. The group has also stood out for capabilities such as comprehensive IT carbon footprint assessments, modernization and energy savings of its high-performance computing systems, optimization of applications and AI, lifecycle management of devices, and provision of sustainability dashboards. Atos has been identified as a pioneer in decarbonization level agreements in IT outsourcing. The group has also been highlighted for its expertise in sustainable digital work environments, notably illustrated by its partnership with the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), for which Atos provides a digital workplace based on the principles of the circular economy, deploying high-performance refurbished laptops.
