Atos Renews Its Contract with High Schools in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Atos Group has confirmed the extension of its commitment to IT support for high schools in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, a partnership that has been in place since 2015.
Continued Support and Maintenance
Atos has announced the renewal of its contract for support and maintenance of information systems across 304 public and agricultural high schools in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Initially implemented in 2015, the project aims to provide technical assistance to over 236,000 students as well as 31,000 staff and teachers. The contract includes various services such as level 1 to 3 technical support, infrastructure monitoring, and the deployment of servers and workstations for educational and administrative purposes.
Enhanced Cybersecurity Measures
In response to the increasing challenges of cybersecurity, Atos has strengthened security measures under this contract. These measures are designed to protect the information systems of the high schools from potential attacks, especially by preventing the leakage or alteration of critical data such as student grades. The company also focuses on security during periods of high activity, such as during examinations or at the start of the school year.
Innovative Solutions for System Management
As part of this partnership, Atos continues to explore innovative solutions to improve the management of high schools' information systems. One area being investigated is the integration of artificial intelligence to optimize incident and ticket management. Atos is also contributing to the modernization of technological infrastructures to mitigate risks associated with their obsolescence. The company primarily uses Microsoft environments, while considering alternatives to ensure data sovereignty.
