Bonduelle Achieves Global B Corp Certification
French agribusiness group Bonduelle has announced that it has received B Corp certification for all its activities worldwide, according to a press release. This international recognition comes as part of its 'Transform to Win' transformation plan initiated in 2018.

According to the group, this certification places Bonduelle among the French companies certified as B Corps on a global scale. Initiated in 2018, the process evaluates companies on five pillars: governance, employees, community, customers, and the environment. Xavier Unkovic, CEO of the group, stated that this approach represents a daily commitment to continuous improvement, enhancing transparency and consistency in commitments to stakeholders. The group indicates that this certification covers all its entities worldwide and aligns with its mission to promote a transition to more plant-based diets.
Key Figures and Achievements
The group has released several key figures as part of this certification. According to the press release, 11,000 chefs have been trained in plant-based cooking over three years, and 98% of products have a Nutri-Score of A or B. Agriculturally, the company reports that 59% of its farmers practice regenerative agriculture, with a goal of reaching 80% by 2030. Additionally, 73% of irrigable cultivated areas are equipped with systems to limit irrigation, aiming for 90% by 2030. The group also reports an engagement rate of 71% among its employees and notes that 100% of its sites participate in local impact initiatives.
A Family Enterprise with Global Presence
Bonduelle, a family business from northern France spanning seven generations, operates in nearly 100 countries with brands such as Bonduelle, Cassegrain, and Globus. The group collaborates with nearly 2,000 farmers, as per the press release. For the fiscal year 2024-2025, the company achieved a turnover of 2.2 billion euros. Céline Barral, Director of Strategy, Brands, and Impact, mentioned that this certification has helped to improve social, environmental, and governance practices in a structured way, while also enhancing the group's transparency.
