BPCE and Nexity to Create a Joint Venture Dedicated to Real Estate Distribution
BPCE Group and Nexity have entered into exclusive negotiations aimed at a dual operation concerning their real estate distribution activities. The agreement includes the creation of a joint venture dedicated to the selection and structuring of new and renovated real estate programs in France, as well as the consolidation of Nexity's distribution activities within the Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne networks.
A Joint Venture to Source and Structure Real Estate Programs
The joint venture, owned 51% by Nexity and 49% by BPCE, will be tasked with selecting, acquiring, and structuring a range of new and renovated real estate programs from developers. This entity will market the properties through two distribution channels: the Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne network via BPCE Real Estate Solutions, as well as the partner networks of iSelection and Perl, which include major players in the banking, insurance, wealth management, and brokerage sectors.
The joint venture will target both real estate developers and individual clients. For developers, it will offer a system for pooling listings to accelerate sales. For individuals (first-time buyers and investors), it will guarantee exclusive access to prime opportunities in the new market on a national scale.
Consolidation of Distribution within BPCE Networks
In parallel with the creation of the joint venture, BPCE will consolidate the distribution activities conducted by iSelection within its Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne banking networks. This consolidation is part of the BPCE group's Vision 2030 strategic plan, which aims to enhance its capacity to distribute real estate products within its retail networks.
This new structure will complement the ÊtreProprio platform, acquired in March 2026, which focuses more on the existing real estate market. Both structures will provide dedicated support from specialized advisors to buyers, from the initial search to the completion of the transaction.
Operational Implementation Scheduled for January 1, 2027
The joint venture and the reorganization of distribution activities within the Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne are expected to become operational by January 1, 2027, at the latest. BPCE and Nexity will proceed with the mandatory consultations with their respective employee representative bodies prior to finalizing the operation.
