Covivio Shares Drop 4.5% and Break Below Support at €52.80
The office and hotel property company is significantly struggling in late afternoon trading in Paris, in a sharply declining Parisian market. The stock has broken through a closely watched technical threshold and is now well below its main moving averages. The resurgence of geopolitical tensions and increased volatility are weighing on the overall market.
The Stock Breaks Its Support at €52.80 and Drops Below Key Moving Averages
Covivio shares fell 4.24% to €51.90, down from €54.20 the previous day. During the session, the stock broke through its support level at €52.80 and failed to recover, a break that leaves the price significantly behind its three reference moving averages. The MM20 (€54.10) and the MM50 (€54.41) are now more than 4% above the current price, while the MM200 at €55.36 widens the gap to 6.25%.
The RSI at 51 remains neutral, indicating a temporary drop rather than a capitulation by sellers. The property company is thus returning to its June levels, erasing the rebound that began in early July during the easing of long-term rates.

The session is marked by a significantly deteriorated market environment. The CAC 40 is down 2.02% at 8,266 points and the SBF 120 has fallen by 1.96%, following new military escalations in the Middle East: the United States has conducted strikes against Iran, which in retaliation claimed missile and drone attacks on American military installations in Kuwait and Bahrain. Donald Trump also stated from the NATO summit in Ankara that the ceasefire with Tehran was over, a political hardening that diminishes diplomatic clarity in the short term.
The VIX surged nearly 11% to 17.9, indicating a marked increase in nervousness. In this context, Covivio ranks at the bottom of the SBF 120, while oil and oil service companies (Maurel and Prom, Vallourec, GTT) are performing well. The property company remains sensitive to the office market and the trajectory of long-term rates, two factors that will determine the stock's performance after this technical breakdown.
