Crédit Agricole S.A. has decided to redeem its non-preferred senior bonds issued in December 2022 for an amount of JPY 17.7 billion, according to a company statement.
Details of the Redemption
According to Crédit Agricole S.A.'s statement, the company will proceed with the redemption of the entire non-preferred senior bonds issued on December 7, 2022. The total nominal amount of these bonds is 17.7 billion Japanese yen (JPY), and they will be redeemed at a price equal to 100% of the principal amount, plus accrued interest until the redemption date. The payment for this redemption is scheduled for December 8, 2025, as December 7 is not a business day.
Notification to Bondholders
According to the group, bondholders will be officially notified of this operation, following the terms and conditions of the bonds. Under these conditions, interest will cease to accrue as of December 7, 2025. The redemption will be carried out in accordance with the issuer's option redemption condition, with no provisions for additional interest in case of deferment to the next business day.

The statement specifies that the distribution of information regarding the bond redemption is subject to legal restrictions in several jurisdictions.
