Crédit Agricole S.A. Launches Its Strategic Plan ACT 2028
Crédit Agricole S.A. has unveiled its new strategic plan, ACT 2028, aimed at strengthening its positions in Europe and innovating in transitions and technologies.
Ambitious Goals for 2028
According to the press release, Crédit Agricole S.A. has set ambitious targets for 2028, aiming for 60 million customers and achieving 60% of its revenues outside of France. The group anticipates a net income attributable to the group of more than 8.5 billion euros and a return on tangible equity (ROTE) above 14%. The target cost-income ratio is set at less than 55%.
Growth Targets in Europe and Asia
Crédit Agricole S.A. is targeting growth in Europe, particularly in Italy, where it aims to reach 6.5 million customers contributing 20% to the group's results by 2028. In Germany, the group plans to double its customer base. In Asia, Amundi aims for a net collection of 150 billion euros and CA Indosuez aims to manage 20 billion euros. The company is also focused on private markets and economic transitions.
Core Transformation in ACT 2028
Transformation is at the heart of the ACT 2028 plan, with an emphasis on accelerating time-to-market and the use of AI and data. Crédit Agricole S.A. plans to reduce compliance time by 50% through AI and to launch digital trust solutions. Group cohesion is strengthened with synergies between business lines and a decentralized approach to achieving set goals.
