Crypto Blockchain Industries launches share buybacks on October 12, mining yield exceeds 16%
In its monthly report published on October 8, 2026, Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI), listed on Euronext Growth Paris, reported an annualized yield from its mining activity exceeding 16% in September, driven according to the company by Bitcoin's rebound beyond $80,000. The group also confirmed the start, as of October 12, 2026, of the share buyback program approved by the annual general meeting on September 24, 2026.
Buyback capped at 1 euro per share and 1 million euros
The program will be executed on the market at a maximum price of 1 euro per CBI share. Its volume will be equal to at least 25% of profits generated by Bitcoin mining, up to a limit of 1 million euros. It runs until March 31, 2027 and may be suspended based on negative windows related to the publication of accounts closed on September 30, 2026. The company published a separate press release on the same day specifying the terms of this program. The volume of buybacks is thus indexed to mining activity, which constitutes the EARN component of the group's ACE strategy. This strategy aims to build the largest possible portfolio of Bitcoins and other crypto-assets, primarily by purchasing them on the market (ACQUIRE) and developing proprietary utility tokens and digital assets (CREATE), the latter component currently on hold.
Bitcoin yield declining, 150 servers offline in Missouri
Measured in dollars, September's yield is still considered "insufficient" by the company, whose objective is to return, thanks to Bitcoin's increase, to 20% per year. Measured in Bitcoins, it is lower than that of August 2026, due to limitations in access to the electrical network related to temporary restrictions. A technical issue also prevented the operation of 150 S21+ servers at the Missouri site, which the company estimates it will likely need to relocate. CBI does not pay electricity for these machines, but they do not generate Bitcoins. Yield is calculated on a cash basis: gross margin (Bitcoins received minus the monthly electricity bill) is compared to the amount invested in servers, then annualized, excluding accounting depreciation and server resale prices. It is based on preliminary electricity billing established by Blockware Solutions, CBI's partner for hosting its mining operations in the United States, and may be adjusted retroactively. The portfolio of crypto-assets and related assets has progressed compared to the previous month, notably with a rebound in BNB Standard Corporation Industries shares, whose net asset value stands at approximately 9 dollars. Composed mainly of Bitcoins generated from mining and servers, it also includes reserves in fiat currency that the group plans to deploy in accordance with its capital allocation policy. The company recalls that its share presents very high volatility.
