One of the strongest gains on the SBF 120: TF1 share rises 2.5%, RSI at 19
The audiovisual group is recovering sharply during the session, in a Paris market that is nevertheless oriented downwards. The security thus emerges from a series of difficult sessions, marked by an unprecedented low for several years.
A rebound that only partially offsets the monthly decline
TF1 gains 2.28% to €6.05 while the SBF 120 loses 0.37%, placing the security among the strongest gainers in the index. The recovery remains modest compared to the 10.51% decline over one month, so that the price remains 5.25% below its 20-day moving average at €6.38. The RSI at 19 reflects the extent of the recent slide, in contact with a support level at €5.84 that the security has not broken through.
The group had already posted a low since 2022 on September 30, the day when Oddo BHF lowered its price target, then had already recovered on October 6. Today's session thus extends this rebound movement following a low point.
Growing digital advertising and still tense advertising context in H1
During the publication of H1 2026, on July 24, TF1's digital revenue grew by 17.1% to €134 million, with advertising on TF1+ up 18.6% to €109 million. The group also mentioned the launch of its partnership with Netflix, whose contribution is expected in the second half. On the other hand, a deteriorated advertising context was weighing on linear advertising, which is a strong contributor to current operating profit.
Over one year, the security is down 27.69%, a decline that today's gains do not significantly reduce. The French bond market remains under pressure, with the 10-year OAT at 4.90% this Thursday, at the level of the peak observed on October 1.
