Crypto Blockchain Industries: net loss of €21.7M, pivot towards bitcoin mining
Crypto Blockchain Industries released its annual results for the year ended March 31, 2026, marked by a net result of -€21.7M, impacted by asset write-downs of €17.6M related to the suspension of its CREATE development activity. This shift to losses reflects the strategic choice to prioritize bitcoin mining and artificial intelligence servers.
Results in decline, reorientation towards bitcoin mining
Revenue stood at €3,594K as of March 31, 2026, down 31% compared to €5,214K in the previous fiscal year.
This contraction results directly from the suspension of CREATE activities (emoji, AlphaVerse), decided in March 2026 to concentrate resources on bitcoin mining. Current operating result came to -€3,718K compared to +€1,468K in the prior year, reflecting both the impact of declining revenue and announced strategic decisions.
Net result reached -€21,696K, impacted by total provisions of €17,608K, including a write-down of AlphaVerse/Unity assets of €9,400K. These provisions, accounting-related and without immediate cash impact, accompany the suspension of CREATE development.
CBI clarifies that the assets remain its property and could be exploited in the event of future partnerships.
Restructuring underway and cost discipline
The company has already carried out workforce reductions within the CREATE activity and announced its intention to reduce development and marketing expenses to near-zero as of October 1, 2026.
General and administrative expenses amounted to €1,428.9K, compared to €1,303.1K in the previous fiscal year, integrating listing and management costs. Since April 1, 2026, they have been reduced to a minimum; CBI now links the compensation of its executive, rents and payment of interest on associate current accounts to the company's future performance.
The company remains financed exclusively through equity and advances in current accounts from Ker Ventures, with the exception of a $1M debt fully collateralized in bitcoins. No current financial debt is recorded.
Operational balance and expansion towards AI
CBI displays two priorities: achieving operational break-even and expanding its IT infrastructure with servers dedicated to artificial intelligence.
The statement emphasizes that the suspension of CREATE and associated write-downs are intended to improve cash flow without creating additional shareholder dilution beyond existing warrants (estimated dilution at 4.1%). The viability of these objectives rests on one assumption: CBI assumes that the bitcoin price will not decline significantly below $65,000, the mining profitability threshold.
Data from July 24, 2026 indicates an annualized mining yield of -2% in June 2026. CBI reminds that crypto-assets carry intrinsic risks of volatility likely to affect its financial performance.
