DBV Technologies Joins Euronext Tech Leaders Index as of June 22
DBV Technologies announced on Tuesday its inclusion in the Euronext Tech Leaders index, effective since June 22. This recognition positions the French biotech alongside selected European companies known for their innovation and growth trajectory.
An Integration Rewarding the Biotech's Scientific Approach
DBV Technologies has now joined the Euronext Tech Leaders index, which includes over 100 companies listed on the European Euronext markets (Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Oslo, and Paris). This index comprises companies recognized for their innovation, growth trajectory, and contribution to the European technological ecosystem, in sectors such as software, biotechnology, fintech, clean technologies, and semiconductors. Viaskin Peanut at the Heart of Therapeutic Strategy
The French biotech is focusing its efforts on the development of the Viaskin Peanut patch, an epicutaneous immunotherapy (EPIT) treatment for children allergic to peanuts. This patch is designed to deliver micrograms of a biologically active compound through intact skin, aiming to retrain the immune system to desensitize to the allergen. DBV Technologies is currently conducting clinical studies with the Viaskin Peanut patch in young children (ages 1 to 3) and children (ages 4 to 7) allergic to peanuts. The group emphasizes that this inclusion reflects the strength of its scientific approach and the significant progress made in the development of this drug candidate.
