Derichebourg Facility acquires PES and strengthens its agri-food offering in Vendée
The target is a cleaning company based in Vendée. It brings a loyal customer base and specialisation in agri-food sites to a provider whose offering extends to facility management and security monitoring.
PES, around forty employees and €2.5 million in revenue
On 5 November 2026, Derichebourg Facility announced the acquisition of Propreté Environnement et Services (PES), a cleaning company based in Beaurepaire, in Vendée. The acquired company employs around forty staff and generated revenue of €2.5 million in 2025.
This amount corresponds to PES's annual activity. It does not represent the value of the transaction. The deal therefore concerns a regional-scale structure, rooted in a specific area.
PES works for around a hundred clients, including companies, notably in the agri-food sector, and local authorities. Its customer retention rate stands at 95%. This indicator measures the share of clients who remain loyal to the company.
For a cleaning services provider, this rate indicates the recurring nature of the portfolio. By taking over PES, the acquirer gains a base of contracts already in place in Vendée. It does not have to win new clients one by one in the region.
According to Derichebourg Facility, the deal serves two objectives. The first is to extend its network in western France, which relates to geographic coverage. The second aims to enhance its expertise in cleaning agri-food sites, which relates to sector specialisation.
Both dimensions overlap in the profile of the target: a local presence and an industrial customer base focused on the agri-food sector.
Agri-food at the heart of the sought-after complementarity
Derichebourg Facility offers businesses a range of services covering cleaning, facility management, reception and security monitoring. PES strengthens the first of these activities by adding a local presence in Vendée.
Cleaning agri-food sites meets requirements specific to industrial companies in this sector. It is this expertise that Derichebourg Facility's chief executive, Simon Pebeyre, highlights to explain the combination, alongside the close relationship PES maintains with its customers.
"Their knowledge of agri-food requirements and their proximity to clients in Vendée complement our expertise," the executive said. He added: "We share the same attention to the specific needs of each client."
The presence of local authorities among PES's clients also broadens the customer profile acquired beyond the private sector alone. The acquirer thus gains diversity in the portfolio linked to its Vendée presence.
The interest of the deal therefore lies less in the size of the target than in what it brings: a loyal regional customer base and sector-specific expertise. These two assets fit into a broader service offering.
