Econocom Reports 4.3% Growth in 2025 and Reduces Financial Debt to 36 Million Euros
On Tuesday, Econocom Group released its annual results for 2025, showing an increase in revenue and improved operational profitability despite a challenging economic environment. However, the group has postponed its 2028 quantitative targets due to market conditions and necessary investments in artificial intelligence.
Revenue and Operational Performance
In 2025, Econocom generated a revenue of 2,923 million euros, up by 4.3 percent from 2024, with 2.7 percent organic growth. This increase was driven by the Technology Management & Financing and Products & Solutions sectors, as well as developments in Southern Europe and Germany, in a mixed market environment. The group's operating margin stood at 118.1 million euros, compared to 110.5 million euros the previous year. This improvement primarily reflects operational efficiency gains, while relative profitability remains stable at 4.0 percent. The Technology Management & Financing segment recorded a revenue of 1,127 million euros, up by 4.7 percent, supported by the integration of bb-net since January 2025, and generated an operating margin of 60 million euros compared to 47 million euros in 2024. The Products & Solutions sector, with a revenue of 1,271 million euros, returned to growth at 5.3 percent, particularly in the second half of the year, driven by acquisitions of audiovisual integrators accounting for 2.9 percent of organic growth. The Services activity recorded a revenue of 526 million euros, with limited growth of 1.1 percent and a stable operating margin of 25 million euros.
Financial Results and Debt Management
The result from continuing operations reached 53.2 million euros, up by 42.5 percent from 37.3 million euros in 2024. This significant recovery is due to the improvement in the group's operational performance. The consolidated net result is 6.4 million euros, impacted by a depreciation of 37 million euros related to Synertrade, a non-continuing subsidiary intended for sale, with the exit process underway to allow the group to focus on its core activities. The group's financial structure has strengthened, with net financial debt reduced to 36 million euros at the end of December 2025, down from 96 million euros a year earlier. The free cash flow for the last twelve months amounts to 142 million euros. In the first half of 2025, Econocom issued a Schuldschein loan of 225 million euros, helping to diversify its investor base and finance the deployment of the One Econocom strategic plan.
Strategic Ambitions and Future Outlook
Econocom maintains its overall strategic ambition but has postponed its medium-term quantitative goals initially set for 2028, in response to the uncertain economic and geopolitical context, tension in the technology market, and strategic investments required in artificial intelligence. The group anticipates an annual revenue growth of between 2 and 3 percent for the years 2026, 2027, and 2028, aligned with market forecasts. Priorities for 2026 focus on organic growth complemented by selective external growth, continued internal transformation through increased technological investments and improved operational efficiency, as well as rigorous cash flow management and a disciplined approach to debt. Regarding shareholder remuneration, the Board of Directors will propose to the General Assembly a repayment of the issuance premium of 0.05 euros per share, corresponding to a yield of 3.0 percent based on the price as of December 31, 2025, for an estimated amount of 8.1 million euros in July 2026.
