A disaster occurred on Sunday, February 22, at the Eramet Grande Côte extraction plant in Senegal, a subsidiary dedicated to the exploitation of mineralized sands. According to the statement published by the group, the facility was shut down for scheduled maintenance at the time of the incident. The site was evacuated without any casualties or injuries. The operational impact of this event remains to be clarified, particularly regarding the potential downtime of the production unit. This context comes just a few days before the publication of the 2025 annual results, scheduled for February 28. Investors will then have a detailed view of the group's financial trajectory for the past year. The first quarter 2026 revenue is scheduled for April 23.

Despite the rebound observed this Monday, the short-term dynamics remain unfavorable from a technical standpoint. The gap from this level, more than 20%, illustrates the magnitude of the correction suffered by the stock, which has lost more than 14% over the last seven days. The RSI, an indicator measuring the speed and intensity of price movements, is at 24, a level generally considered as an oversold zone. This threshold indicates that selling pressure has been particularly strong in recent sessions, which can historically precede a stabilization movement. The nearest technical support is at 46.10 euros, while the price remains far from the resistance at 87 euros. Over three months, the performance remains slightly positive at 5.4%, but the decline reaches 5.33% over a year.
