Eurazeo Invests in Lauralu, Specialist in Demountable Structures
The Paris-based asset manager has acquired a majority stake in Lauralu from Evolem, alongside regional investors. This acquisition by the group's Infrastructure branch allows Eurazeo to strengthen its portfolio in deployable infrastructures.
Acquisition of Industrial Structures for Long-Term Rental
Eurazeo has acquired a majority of the capital of Lauralu, a specialist in demountable structures intended for industrial storage, logistics platforms, and operational facilities. Based in France and established in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Nordic countries, and Spain, the company designs, manufactures, installs, and adapts large-scale structures in these areas.
Founded in 1998 and led by Olivier Hohn, Lauralu currently operates over 400,000 m² of deployed infrastructures across Europe. The business model relies heavily on multi-year rental contracts, supported by a high renewal rate that reflects the critical nature of the facilities for industrial clients.
Growth Strategy and Portfolio Consolidation
Eurazeo supports Lauralu through an active management strategy aimed at consolidating the rental model, strengthening the organization, and pursuing selective acquisitions in a fragmented market. The acquisition comes at a time when Eurazeo is maintaining a strong investment momentum.
Alignment with European Sustainability Goals
This stake acquisition supports Eurazeo's sustainable development goals by backing a circular asset model based on a high rate of reuse and relocatable structures with a low carbon footprint, in line with the goals of the European taxonomy. Melissa Cohen, co-head of Infrastructure at Eurazeo, stated that 'Lauralu's structures are essential to the operations they support, offering sustainable and irreplaceable solutions.'
