Eurazeo: Christophe Bavière becomes sole chairman of the executive board before 2027
Eurazeo's Supervisory Board has reformed its governance structure without waiting for the expiration of current mandates, scheduled for February 5, 2027. According to the press release published on October 26, 2026, this new organization is intended to enable the group to "accelerate further in a rapidly evolving market".
Appointed sole chairman of the executive board with immediate effect
Christophe Bavière has been appointed "as of now sole Chairman of the Executive Board" by the Supervisory Board, which ruled on the recommendation of the Remuneration, Selection and Governance Committee. The English version of the press release designates him as "sole Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO". The text specifies that the board has decided to "evolve governance" around him.
The press release recalls the achievements of the past four years under the leadership of the current executive board: a 30% increase in assets under management from third parties, which now represent nearly 80% of the group's assets, and fundraising that is now 70% international. The FRE margin increased from 30.7% in 2022 to 36% in 2025.
Composition of future executive board set upon completion of current mandates
The Supervisory Board will determine the composition of the future Executive Board, chaired by Christophe Bavière, upon completion of current mandates. Until then, the latter has been tasked, according to Jean-Charles Decaux, chairman of the Supervisory Board, with "preparing the new governance organization that will enable us to take this next step".
Jean-Charles Decaux thanked the current executive board "for the work accomplished" and commended "in particular the contribution of Mr. William Kadouch-Chassaing since 2023". He added that the group "must now accelerate to continue gaining market share in an even more demanding environment".
