Eurazeo Shares Jump 4% Breaking Through Resistance at €44.18
The Parisian asset manager records one of the best performances on the French stock market in early afternoon trading, in a generally declining Ile-de-France market. The stock has crossed a technical threshold monitored for several sessions, reversing some of its quarterly decline.
A Significant Rebound Propels the Stock to the Top of the SBF 120
Eurazeo shares gained 3.94% to €45.42 in early afternoon trading, while the SBF 120 dropped by 1.05% and the CAC 40 by 1.18%. The stock is among the highest risers in the SBF 120, in a segment led by Soitec (+21.4%) following its results announcement. This surge represents a weekly increase of 5.04% and nearly 6% over the month, although the annual performance still lags by 28.1%. The movement includes a notable crossing: the price exceeded the resistance identified at €44.18 during the session and remains above.
The stock has thus significantly surpassed its MM20 (€41.89) and MM50 (€43.51), with respective gaps of 8.4% and 4.4%. However, the MM200 at €48.77 is still 6.9% above the current price, indicating an underlying negative trend. The RSI at 57 supports the rebound without indicating overheating.
Semi-Annual Results Expected Later Today
The rebound coincides with the day of the semi-annual 2026 results announcement, scheduled on the financial calendar. During the first quarter of 2026 (May 13, 2026), the company had confirmed the ramp-up of its model, driven by strong fundraising, and highlighted a 17% increase in group deployments as well as achieving an Investment Grade rating from S&P and Fitch. The past semester was also marked by several key operations, including the closing of the fifth secondary fund at €2.3 billion in early July, exceeding the initial target.
After breaking its support at €41.92 at the end of June, the stock gradually regained ground. It now fluctuates between its surpassed MM50 and the intermediate resistance of €48.77 represented by the MM200. The content of the semi-annual results published today, as well as the reception of analyst opinions that will follow, will guide the short-term trajectory.
