Eviden Rolls Out Training for the Belgian Army's SICS System
Eviden participated in the launch of the first national training platform for the SCORPION Combat Information System (SICS) by the Belgian Defense at Bourg-Léopold on February 10, 2026. The Directorate General of Material Resources (DGMR) selected Eviden for the creation, deployment of SICS training platforms and the associated Thales radios, as well as for the initial training of the main trainers.
Digital Nervous System for Next-Generation CaMo Vehicles
SICS serves as the digital nervous system for the new generation of CaMo vehicles and is a crucial component in the modernization of the Land Force. The system enables instant information sharing among vehicles, platoons, and command posts. This commissioning marks a significant milestone in the strategic CaMo partnership between Belgium and France. Through this selection, the Land Force and the DGMR gain full autonomy to train all operators and system administrators on SICS. SICS will be deployed across all relevant Land Force capabilities.

The three SICS training platforms were made operational between June and autumn 2025. At Bourg-Léopold and Marche-en-Famenne, operational military personnel undergo their SICS training on validated equipment, identical to the systems equipped in Scorpion vehicles. At Peutie, system administrators, CIS specialists, and other technical profiles are trained, with a particular focus on configuration, network architecture, and radio integration. The infrastructure is designed to last 15 to 20 years within the constantly evolving CaMo ecosystem.
A Key Step for the Belgian Land Force
