Exail postpones half-yearly results to September 24, revenues up 27%
Exail Technologies announced on September 14, 2026 the postponement of the publication of its first half 2026 results, initially scheduled for September 15 after trading hours and now set for September 24 after trading hours.
The group attributes this delay to ongoing technical discussions with its statutory auditors regarding the impacts of the planned combination with Thales.
A postponement linked to the combination with Thales
The postponement of the publication of half-yearly results stems from ongoing technical discussions with statutory auditors concerning the impacts of the planned combination with Thales.
The complete half-yearly results will be published on September 24, 2026 after trading hours. On this occasion, Exail Technologies recalled the elements already communicated in its press release of July 29, 2026 and provided several preliminary financial indicators.
Revenues up 27% and preliminary current EBITDA of €63 million
In the first half of 2026, revenues increased by 27% on a comparable basis. Commercial activity remained strong, with order intake up more than 40% in navigation systems and nearly 70% in photonics activities.
On the basis of half-yearly accounts not yet approved by the Board of Directors, the company communicates preliminary indicators: current EBITDA for the half-year should reach €63 million, up approximately 43% compared to the first half of 2025. Operating income would amount to €46 million, up 61%. These preliminary data remain subject to the statutory auditors' report after the accounts are finalized.
Working capital requirement up €70 million
The cash generation for the half-year is marked by an increase in working capital requirement, on the order of €70 million. The group indicates that this change is in line with the usual seasonality of the business, the first half traditionally being less favorable due to the billing and collection schedule of contracts.
The company indicates that very significant collections are expected in the second half. The publication of the complete half-yearly results will take place on September 24, 2026 after trading hours.
