GTT Secures Order for Five LNG Carriers from Hudong-Zhonghua
GTT announced on Tuesday that it has received an order from Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for the design of tanks for five new LNG carriers. These vessels, intended for shipowner MISC, will be delivered between 2029 and 2030.
Design of Cryogenic Tanks for 174,000 m³ LNG Carriers
GTT will handle the design of the cryogenic tanks for five LNG carriers. Each vessel will have a total capacity of 174,000 m³. The tanks will be equipped with the NO96 Super+ membrane containment system developed by GTT. This order was received in the second quarter of 2026 from the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding on behalf of shipowner MISC.
