Ipsos: Alexandre Guérin Appointed Deputy CEO for Performance
Ipsos announced on Thursday a series of key organizational changes in support of its strategic plan, Horizons. Alexandre Guerin has been promoted to the role of Deputy CEO, while Laurent Depouilly and Marion-Anne Cattaneo have been appointed to lead the French and Swiss operations of the group, respectively.
Alexandre Guerin Named Deputy CEO for Performance
Alexandre Guerin has been appointed Deputy CEO for Performance, a position within the executive committee that places him under the authority of CEO Jean-Laurent Poitou. He will oversee the objectives of the Horizons plan, specifically aiming to reduce study times (target: less than 48 hours). He will also supervise the reinvention of internal operations and the client model. Guerin brings a wealth of commercial and operational management experience across two continents, including in the United States where he served as Director of Client Relations and previously managed operations as Chief Financial Officer. For the past five years, he has led Ipsos in France, where he oversaw the integration of BVA in 2025.
Leadership Changes in France and Switzerland
Laurent Depouilly takes over from Guerin as head of Ipsos BVA France, now integrated into the EMEA region and reporting to Shane Farrell (EMEA CEO). Having been with the group since 2010, Depouilly has held various leadership positions in France before taking charge of Switzerland. He is tasked with strengthening the positioning and commercial growth of the French entity. Marion-Anne Cattaneo becomes the director of Ipsos Switzerland, also under Farrell's authority. Joining the group in 2015, she has developed a diverse career in France and Switzerland, currently leading key units (Innovation, Market Strategy & Understanding). Her role focuses on supporting international clients and diversifying the local portfolio.
