Ipsos Launches 1.2 Billion Euro Investment Plan Focused on Artificial Intelligence
On January 22, 2026, Ipsos Group announced a five-year investment of 1.2 billion euros aimed at artificial intelligence and acquisitions. This strategy is intended to reinvigorate growth that is perceived as stagnant.
Investment Distribution Strategy
The investment plan will be allocated between acquisitions targeting specific technologies and enhancing internal capabilities. Ipsos plans to increase the proportion of data scientists and artificial intelligence engineers among its staff. The company currently employs over 1,000 data scientists and AI engineers. Funding will primarily be secured through available cash flow.
Strategic Plan 'Horizons'
The 'Horizons' strategic plan aims for an organic growth of 5% or more by 2028 and a record operating margin of 13.5%. AI efforts will focus on commercial research, which constitutes the majority of Ipsos' revenue. Ipsos intends to develop or acquire most of its core technologies, while remaining open to partnerships if they accelerate progress or align better with financial goals.
Six Strategic Pillars
The plan is based on six strategic pillars: leveraging the range of services, strengthening global operations, providing faster insights, using AI as a differentiating factor, developing proprietary panels, and assisting client decision-making with high-value information.
