Kering Restructures Its Board of Directors: Two New Arrivals, One Historic Departure
Kering announces changes to its Board of Directors during the General Assembly on May 28, 2026. The luxury group will propose the appointment of two independent directors while Jean-Pierre Denis will step down.
New Appointments Proposed
Kering's Board of Directors, on the recommendation of the Nominations and Governance Committee, will propose the appointment of two independent directors, Marie-Hélène Chenut and Laurent Kleitman, at the annual General Assembly on May 28, 2026.
A Significant Departure
Jean-Pierre Denis has submitted his resignation from his directorship, effective at the conclusion of the General Assembly on May 28, 2026. Having been a director at Kering since June 9, 2008, he served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee from 2012 to 2020, then as Vice-Chairman of this Committee and a member of the Compensation and Sustainable Development Committees. He has also held the role of Climate Referent since 2022. If the General Assembly approves the resolutions concerning the composition of the Board of Directors, and considering the expiration of the mandates of Maureen Chiquet and Yonca Dervisoglu, the Board will consist of 13 members with an independence rate of 64% and a female representation of 45%.
