M6 Integrates Its Streaming Service with Prime Video in France
Métropole Télévision Group announces the free availability of its M6+ platform for all Prime subscribers in France. This integration provides access to over 30,000 hours of content from the group's channels.
Comprehensive Access for Prime Members
According to the press release, Prime members can now access all M6+ content for free through a dedicated space on the Amazon platform. The offering includes live and replay broadcasts of channels such as M6, W9, 6ter, and Gulli, as well as exclusive programs. The catalog features entertainment shows like 'L'Amour est dans le pré', 'Qui veut être mon associé?', 'Mariés au premier regard', 'Les Traîtres', 'Pékin Express', and 'Top Chef'. Reality series such as 'C'est la famille', 'L'Île de la tentation', and 'Les Cinquante' are also available. The group notes that live sports broadcasts, including the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Super Bowl, are part of the offer, alongside news magazines 'Zone Interdite', 'Capital', 'Enquête Exclusive', and news programs '12.45' and '19.45'.
Enhancing Content Visibility and Accessibility
According to David Larramendy, President of the M6 Group Executive Board, this agreement aims to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the group's content in a fragmented consumption environment. The executive emphasizes that this development is part of the strategy to build a streaming ecosystem adapted to new consumer habits. The partnership is also intended to strengthen the coverage of the M6 Unlimited commercial offer, the group's advertising network. In 2025, M6+ reached an average of 29 million French people each month, according to figures released by the company. The platform offers an ad-free experience and optional paid early access.
Expanding Prime Video's Entertainment Offering in France
For Prime Video, the integration of the M6+ catalog represents an expansion of its entertainment offering in France. Elisabetta Carruba, Director of Prime Video Channels in Europe, states that this addition is part of the goal to become the premier entertainment destination for platform customers. Prime Video already offers a variety of content, including Amazon MGM Studios productions, sports broadcasts like Roland-Garros, and additional subscriptions to third-party services such as France.tv, HBO Max, Crunchyroll, Paramount+, MGM+, and Ciné+OCS. The platform is accessible on thousands of devices and allows non-Prime subscribers to rent or purchase content via the Prime Video Store.
