MaCompta.fr Stock: 10.5% Jump Following Annual Results
The stock surges mid-session following an annual publication that combines strong sales growth with declining profitability. A freshly upgraded analyst rating adds to the picture.
A Rebound That Brings the Price Above Its 20 and 50-Day Moving Averages
The MaCompta.fr stock gains 10.66% to €5.40, compared to €4.88 the previous day, and is up 8.43% over one week. The movement is significant in a rather buoyant market, with the CAC 40 advancing 0.64% during the session. It places the price at 9.31% above its 20-day moving average (€4.94) and 3.25% above the 50-day average (€5.23), while the 200-day average at €5.59 remains 3.40% above the current price.
The RSI at 41 remains neutral despite today's surge, and the €5.70 resistance level is just over 5% away from the current level. Over one year, the stock is still down 22.86%, which puts the magnitude of the rebound into perspective.
28% Growth Weighing on Margin, and Target Price Raised to €10
The company published its annual results on October 5 for the fiscal year ended June 30: revenue grew 28.1% to €5,205k, but EBITDA increased only 4.7%, to €1,224k. EBITDA margin thus declined to 23.5%, compared with 28.8% a year earlier. This slowdown stems from an investment effort of €890k, versus €383k in the previous fiscal year, devoted to electronic invoicing and artificial intelligence.
For 2026/2027, the group targets growth of 28% to 35% and an EBITDA margin of 25% to 30%. This morning, Invest Securities raised its price target from €8 to €10, with a buy rating. On the legal front, the tax administration appealed in August the judgment favorable to the company in the IP Box case, which concerns fiscal years closed in 2020 and 2021: the dispute remains open.
