MaCompta.fr: Revenue up 28%, EBITDA increases only 4.7%
MaCompta.fr published on October 5, 2026 its annual results for the 2025/2026 financial year, ended June 30, 2026. Revenue grew by 28.1% to 5,205 k€, while EBITDA increased by 4.7% to 1,224 k€, representing a margin of 23.5%.
The management software publisher based in Lagord presented for the 2026/2027 financial year a revenue growth target between 28% and 35%, coupled with a target EBITDA margin between 25% and 30%. The past financial year was also marked by an investment level of 890 k€, compared to 383 k€ a year earlier, devoted mainly to electronic invoicing and artificial intelligence.
Revenue of 5,205 k€, driven by both markets
For the 2025/2026 financial year, MaCompta.fr's revenue amounted to 5,205 k€, compared to 4,064 k€ in the previous financial year. The company divides its business between two markets: businesses and associations (the "DECOF" market) and accounting, payroll and finance professionals (the "DIREDA" market).
The DECOF market, which represents the bulk of the activity, grew by 24.3% to 4,466 k€. The DIREDA market recorded an increase of 59.3%, rising to 739 k€ from 465 k€. According to the company, all product families contributed to growth, with stronger momentum in solutions aimed at accounting professionals.
The detailed accounts show operating income of 895 k€, compared to 782 k€ a year earlier, and net income of 893 k€, compared to 710 k€ in the previous financial year.
EBITDA up 4.7% despite revenue growth of 28.1%
The main finding from the publication concerns the gap between revenue growth and EBITDA growth. The latter increased from 1,169 k€ to 1,224 k€, a rise of 4.7% significantly lower than that of revenue. The EBITDA margin thus stands at 23.5% of revenue, down compared to the previous financial year based on published figures.
The detailed accounts show an increase in expenses: personnel costs rose from 2,307 k€ to 2,965 k€ and other expenses from 759 k€ to 1,053 k€. At the same time, investments reached 890 k€, compared to 383 k€ in 2024/2025.
These investments focused on two major projects. MaCompta.fr obtained approval as an electronic invoicing platform in January 2026 and opened this service to its customers from September 1, 2026. In early August 2026, the company launched its first artificial intelligence agent, designed to assist users in creating, configuring and maintaining their accounting files.
On the balance sheet side, net cash stood at 1,237 k€ as of June 30, 2026, compared to 973 k€ a year earlier, and the company reports having no financial debt. Cash flows from operating activities reached 1,668 k€, compared to 1,300 k€ in the previous financial year; 325 k€ in dividends were also paid in connection with financing activities.
Target of 28% to 35% growth and 25% to 30% margin
For the 2026/2027 financial year, MaCompta.fr announced it aims for revenue growth between 28% and 35% and an EBITDA margin of 25% to 30% of revenue. The company set three priorities: scaling up its approved electronic invoicing platform, gradually integrating artificial intelligence agents into its various solutions and continuing organic growth in its online subscription business.
The publisher specified that the target level of capitalized R&D expenditures will return to its historical level of approximately 10% of revenue. "Our control of our customers' invoicing flows, combined with our position as an accounting and management software publisher, gives us a significant competitive advantage," said Sylvain Heurtier, founder and chairman.
A dividend of €0.12 per share will be proposed for the 2025/2026 financial year, subject to approval by the general assembly scheduled for October 30, 2026. Revenue for the first quarter of the 2026/2027 financial year will be published on October 15, 2026. The EBITDA margin target of 25% to 30% is above the 23.5% achieved in the completed financial year.
