Medincell's Stock Rebounds 4% Days Before Annual Results
The biotech company from Montpellier is moving forward on the eve of its annual financial report. The stock is among the top performers in the SBF 120, in a generally positive Parisian market. This rebound comes after a sharp decline in the previous session.
Medincell Moves Above Its Moving Averages in a Supportive Parisian Market
Medincell's stock gains 4.29% to €27.7, while the SBF 120 advances by 0.91% and the CAC 40 increases by 0.97%. The stock ranks among the highest risers of the broader index, trailing behind STMicroelectronics, Soitec, Eramet, and LVMH. The rebound mitigates some of the more than 3% decline recorded the day before, as the financial milestone approaches. The price returns to its 20-day moving average at €27.15, slightly surpassing it by 0.26%.
It also significantly exceeds the 50-day moving average (€25.46) by nearly 7%, confirming a medium-term upward trend. A Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 50 indicates a balanced market without directional excess. The annual performance stands at over 70%, with a three-month gain reaching 19.49%.
Annual Results for 2025-2026 Expected on June 16 as Next Financial Milestone
The Montpellier-based biotech is set to publish its annual results (for the fiscal year April 2025-March 2026) on June 16, 2026, which is next Tuesday. This event is the next identified catalyst in the company's financial calendar. The stock approaches this date after recent progress in its European file, with the EMA's acceptance of the marketing authorization application for olanzapine LAI developed with Teva, announced on May 22.
From a technical perspective, the resistance at €28.72, already tested and briefly surpassed at the end of May before falling back below this level at the beginning of June, remains the reference point as the publication approaches. The support at €24.52 marks the lower consolidation zone. The session on June 16 will decide the recent technical dynamic.
